Thanks to the generous engagement of art friend Steff Fischer and Madame l‘Ambassadeur Esther Eppstein, Anna Lukashevsky’s oil painting “Kosmos”, created in 2017, will now become part of Kosmos’s art collection.
In the fall of 2017, painter Anna Lukashevsky from Haifa, Israel, spent four weeks as a resident of message salon embassy Hotel at the then newly opened 25hours Hotel on Langstrasse in Zurich. Along with multiple sketches and oil paintings picturing street scenes and city views, she produced the painting “Kosmos”, a recording of the artist’s view out of her hotel room onto Europaallee, the new part of town.
message salon embassy Zine nr. 13 “Protocol” is the final document of last year’s project message salon embassy Hotel. message salon embassy commissioned the drawer und painter Maria Pomiansky to record the residents during their stay at the hotel in her own artistic way. Pomiansky’s protocols show the artists in hotel rooms, in the studio or on the go with Madame l’Ambassadeur, as well as at the public gatherings and performances held at the message salon embassy Hotel.
A small exhibition of Anna Lukashevsky and Maria Pomiansky’s current works at Kosmos Klub, on until Sunday 19 August 2018.
