The “Un-plugged TV shop” sells televisions, hi-fi systems, speakers, DVD players, and VHS players. In the message salon, English-born artist Clare Goodwin presents a series of un-plugged device replicas made from found and hand-painted cardboard boxes. The shop is filled with cardboard devices that have a voluminous presence. From a sculptural point of view, a TV set or a VHS recorder is initially just a bulky cube with a front view and side views. Also on display in the un-plugged shop are the light boxes “Nam June Paik un-plugged” and “Maurizio Cattelan un-plugged.” A unique opportunity and sale for the opening!
