Wild Card at the Strauhof Literature Museum

Between two exhibitions, the empty rooms in the Strauhof Literature Museum become the “Wild Card” platform.

In June 2015, Ivona Brdjanovic presented the speed date reading Texttape with young authors in the message salon at the Zürcher Restspiele. At Strauhof, Textape again now brings together a colourful and fun mix of current literature – unpolished, personal and immediate.
Anyone who attends a reading usually sits still – but here there is a constant stream of texts and legs in motion. Textape is a literary tour with fresh texts and short encounters, the authors read from their books, notes, manuscripts, scenes, diaries … In between, the Zurich band project Circumstances sets the breaks with sounds and voice.

A speed dating reading with literature and music from Zurich, staged by Ivona Brdjanovic and Esther Eppstein, with Julia Weber, Heinz Helle, Donat Blum, Rebecca Gisler, Ruth Schweikert and Kursk (Timo Krstin, Rahel Sternberg and Julia Sewing), musical-experimental breaks with Circumstances (Martina Buzzi, Nicolas Buzzi, Li Tavor and Daniel V. Keller).
