The artists invited by Madame l’Ambassadeur meet people and spaces in Zurich, find stimulation, inspiration, networks and new friends. They explore the city and the art scene with their host, Madame l’Ambassadeur. Talks, meetings and presentations take place in the residence of the message salon embassy. As a parting gift, all guests leave behind an artistic statement: a small publication, a message salon embassy fanzine.
message salon embassy is an independent art project that generates friendships and an exchange of ideas. The art scene needs inspiration, refreshment, insights, criticism and networking. message salon embassy is a new experimental format, an ‘artist-run artist residency’ that operates close to the action and from within the scene.
