Kulturbüro Zurich, the anniversary

Tuesday, 25 September, from 3 pm Editorial meeting at the Kulturbüro, 9 pm Ceremonial presentation of the "Grussbotschaft", with Laudatory speech by Madame l'Ambassadeur. "Die Grussbotschaft" is on display at the Kulturbüro, until 2 December.

To mark its 20th anniversary, “Kulturbüro Zürich” (Cultural Office Zurich) is inviting independent art and project spaces to curate an event specially created for the anniversary at the Kulturbüro.

The Kulturbüro’s long-standing ally Madame L’Ambassadeur Esther Eppstein invites you to a reception at the Kulturbüro on Helvetiaplatz. A diplomatic greeting will be delivered by Nils Amadeus Lange and Annina Machaz, Maria Pomiansky takes the protocol. In between and at the end there will be an anniversary single disco with DJ Sistaesta.

Over the course of an afternoon, the ad hoc art gossip booklet “Die Grussbotschaft” (“The message of greeting”) is produced in the Kulturbüro under the direction of editors Annina Machaz and Nils Amadeus Lange and with the participation of visitors to the Kulturbüro. The utensils available in the Kulturbüro are used, such as a photocopier, scanner, glue stick, scissors, adhesive tape, Edding marker, computer, cutting machine, camera, lighting and coffee machine. The handmade original booklet is presented to the Kulturbüro as an anniversary gift at a ceremony that same evening. Madame l’Ambassadeur will give a laudatory speech to mark the 20th anniversary of the Kulturbüro.

The original booklet “Die Grussbotschaft” will remain on display in the Kulturbüro until 2 December and can be viewed and read on request.
