Zurich artist Andrea Muheim has exhibited repeatedly at the message salon since 1997. In the current exhibition, Andrea Muheim presents new paintings created in recent months for the exhibition “Am Fenster gemalt” (Painted at the Window), including several self-portraits. The painter visited her models, family members and friends, in their homes or studios. Andrea Muheim stages her models in front of a window. The portraits are created on an easel on site in several sessions. Andrea Muheim’s painting is vibrant and captures people, their personalities and their surroundings with a keen sense of mood, colour, light and shadow.
