Madame l’Ambassadeur presents: The official handover of the painting “Kosmos” by Anna Lukashevsky to the Kosmos cultural centre. The painter from Haifa, Israel, spent four weeks at the newly opened 25hours Hotel on Langstrasse in Zurich in autumn 2017 as message salon embassy’s artist in residence. This resulted in the painting “Kosmos”, which captures the artist’s view of the new Europaallee district from her hotel room.
Thanks to the generous commitment of art lover Steff Fischer and Madame l’Ambassadeur Esther Eppstein, Anna Lukashevsky’s oil painting “Kosmos” has been donated to the art collection of the Kosmos cultural centre.
The message salon embassy zine “Protocols” is the documentation of last year’s message salon embassy Hotel project. Draughtswoman and painter Maria Pomiansky was commissioned by Madame l’Ambassadeur to accompany the artists in residence with drawings during their stay. The protocol drawings show the artists in their hotel rooms, in the studio or on the road with Madame l’Ambassadeur, as well as the public meetings in the message salon embassy in the hotel.
