The public is invited to celebrate the opening of Perla-Mode with a party!
A group of Zurich cultural activists from various backgrounds in art, performance, party organisation and publishing have taken over the building and shop premises of the former Jewish textile business Perla-Mode/Rubinfeld at Langstrasse 84 for temporary cultural use until further notice.
The Perla-Mode pioneers are

– Urban Zebra Kabinett, Ajana Calugar
– Wartesaal, Manuela Schlumpf and Adrian Ehrat
In the large exhibition space with shop windows facing Langstrasse, the individual operators will take turns presenting exhibitions and projects independently of one another, and there will also be jointly organised events.
The building is the base for Perla-Mode’s active members, who operate their respective exhibition spaces or offices on all floors.
The new message salon exhibition space is located on the first floor of Perla-Mode and will open on 21 September at 7pm with an exhibition by Esther Eppstein.
