“God disturbs.” – A sentence laden with meaning, whose significance raises questions due to its typography and unusual placement in public space. The words are unsettling, and their interpretation remains difficult for viewers. Is it advertising, art, or political agitation?
The title of the installation, “Freedom,” raises further questions. The freedom to interpret the words personally? Or the freedom of the artist to place the provocative lettering in the windows of the art space in public space, opposite the tram station and the Migros Center?
