It’s not quite over yet at the message salon on Rigiplatz … As long as the building stands, events will continue to take place. This Saturday, Esther Eppstein will open rooms that have not previously been accessible to the public so that everyone can pay tribute to the old building, which is due to be demolished. For one night, the message salon will become Restaurant Müller. Lucerne artist and chef Karin Müller will cook and serve fresh risotto every hour from 8pm.
Later in the evening, Zurich-based performer Frances Belser will recite new texts and songs. Frances Belser tells stories in German and sings her lyrics in English in the songwriter tradition. At the message salon, she will be accompanied on guitar by musician Heinz Tobler. Frances Belser has invited artist Ehfa Hiltbrunner to stage her latest series of paintings, “Renaissance Pop,” as a fitting backdrop to the show.
