On my arrival in Singapore the true insanity of the idea became apparent, so much so, that I had to find a Plan B. Filming the raw material for my documentary about the perception of beauty, I had to travel to Tel Aviv and back to Zurich, and Moscow was initially in my mind as well which led me back to my roots.
The journey from Eastern Europe to the Middle East, then to Western Europe shows not only the language and cultural change I had been through, but also the change of view of the relation between beauty and wealth. Maria Pomiansky
