Born in Zurich, artist Selina Trepp has lived and worked in Chicago since 1997. Her media are drawing and film, combined in animated videos and room installations. The delicate, intimate drawings tell stories from the artist’s life. Experiences, observations, self-questioning and dreams combine to form surrealistic narratives that lie somewhere between reportage and magic. At the message salon, Selina Trepp is showing the video installation “player – topsecret”, featuring the original drawings from the video. The video “player – topsecret” is a collaboration with Chicago musician Tylor.
