The two friends Antonio Pate and Axel Donaubauer set up their living room in the message salon. Friends, neighbours and family come to visit, and Antonio and Axel welcome them for a chat on the sofa. They play chess or PlayStation, watch TV, browse the library and drink beer at the house bar. Artist friends bring art to hang, or new artworks are created in the living room. Visible through the gallery’s shop windows, the living room becomes a public space and “Public Livingroom” becomes a social sculpture.
